Nodus Fall Multiplayer
Co-op is the whole pitch — team up, break the deadlock, fight side by side. How many people that means, and whether you can skip it, was never said.

Multiplayer isn’t a mode here, it’s the pitch. HoYoverse’s Gamescom headline calls Nodus Fall a co-op action game. The homepage tells you to team up seamlessly, fight side by side, shatter the deadlock, and restore order together. Noisy Pixel reported that combat is designed around squads.
What nobody has said is how many people a squad holds.
Party size, matchmaking, and the rest
No number has been published. Not four, not three, not eight. No word on whether joining is drop-in, lobby-based, invite-only, or region-locked. No crossplay statement, which follows from there being no platform list at all — see the PS5 question.
GamesBeat framed the open question well: it’s unknown whether this is multiplayer-focused the way Elden Ring Nightreign is, or something you dip in and out of.
Can you play it alone?
Unanswered, and worth flagging because a lot of people are assuming one way or the other. GameSpot described Weavers as heroes who must band together. The official copy is relentlessly plural. But “must band together” is marketing prose, not a design constraint anyone confirmed.
Plenty of co-op-first games ship with a solo path and AI companions. Plenty don’t. TheNodus Fall notes stay agnostic on this until somebody at HoYoverse says a sentence about it.
How co-op seems to shape the fights
The three combat slogans all point at group play. Face mighty foes together. Break the deadlock together. Seize divine power off the thing you just brought down. Noisy Pixel added that Styles and Skill combinations let a team retune per encounter, which only matters if composition matters.
That suggests roles — someone tanking, someone opening windows — but HoYoverse never used the words tank, healer, or DPS. The full list of what’s actually on record is ongameplay.
PvP?
Not mentioned once. No arena, no invasions, no competitive mode in any official material or in the Gamescom coverage. Absence isn’t denial, but there is genuinely nothing to point at.
