Will Nodus Fall Be on PS5?

People type the full question into Google because the trailer looks like a console game and HoYoverse didn’t answer it on stage.

Last updated 26 August 2026

Short answer: nobody at HoYoverse has said yes or no. GamesBeat’s Gamescom recap flatly wrote that Nodus Fall is coming to PS5. Push Square, same week, wrote there was no word on PlayStation — then admitted they strongly suspected it anyway because Monster Hunter sells on Sony hardware.

So the honest reply to “will Nodus Fall be on PS5” is: one outlet thinks so, one outlet doesn’t have confirmation, and the publisher stayed quiet. That’s the whole public record.

What HoYoverse actually published

The Gamescom news post, the world page, the homepage — no platform logos, no “also on PlayStation” line, no store link. Gematsu said platforms weren’t announced. Game8 said the same. When the company that makes the game refuses to name the box, every other answer is guesswork dressed up as reporting.

The Nodus Fall hub keeps PS5 in the “unconfirmed” column for that reason. Not because PS5 is unlikely — because “likely” and “announced” are different words.

The PC listing sitting next to it

IGN’s database page went live 26 August 2026 with Platforms: PC and Initial Release: TBA. Database fields get filled from trailers and press kits. They are not press releases. So you can have GamesBeat saying PS5, IGN saying PC, and HoYoverse saying nothing, all at once.

Why the question keeps showing up

The footage is big-budget co-op boss hunting. That genre has a home on PS5. HoYoverse ships to PlayStation with its other titles. Push Square’s Monster Hunter argument isn’t crazy — it’s just not a slide from the stage.

What would make “yes” real

A PlayStation store listing. Platform icons on a future trailer. A Sony blog post with HoYoverse’s name on it. Until one of those lands, typing the full question into Google gets you journalism, not an answer from the developer.
