Nodus Fall Beta Test

There is no Nodus Fall beta test on the calendar. Polygon said as much straight out of Gamescom — no release date, no anticipated beta test date. What you do have is a pre-register button and copy about following official channels for beta access.

That’s marketing language for “we’ll email you later.” It is not a test schedule.

What the official site promises

nodusfall.hoyoverse.com asks you to pre-register and follow official channels to “secure beta access.” Useful if you want to be on the list. Useless if you need to know whether the test is closed, technical, public, or regional — none of that is defined.

Fan guides, including this Nodus Fall site, can’t put you in a queue. Only first-party forms count.

What “beta test” usually means — and what we don’t know

Most HoYoverse-adjacent tests arrive as a news post with a date range, a platform, and a region list in one shot. None of the four exist yet. Platform is its own mess —consoles aren’t confirmed, so a test invite might land before a store page does, or vice versa. We simply don’t know.

Beta test vs pre-register

Pre-register is open now. A beta test is a playable build with rules. HoYoverse conflated the two in site copy — “secure beta access” sits next to a generic sign-up — but conflating them in your head will make you think a test is imminent when it might be a year out.

The release date is still TBA. Tests usually precede launch, not replace an announcement window.
