Nodus Fall HoYoverse
Yes, it’s that HoYoverse — Genshin, Star Rail, Zenless. Nodusfall is a new original game from the same publisher, not a Genshin sequel.

Official pages live at nodusfall.hoyoverse.com. IGN lists HoYoverse as both developer and publisher. Game8 called it HoYoverse’s new co-op action game. That’s the paper trail for Nodus Fall HoYoverse.
Gematsu’s headline said miHoYo, which is the studio name a lot of people still use for this group. Opening Night Live recaps often skip both names and just say “the Genshin Impact maker.” Same company family. New IP. The Nodus Fall overview is the gameplay dump; this is the masthead.
Not a Genshin sequel
The news post calls Nodusfall brand-new. The trailer is gloomy realistic fantasy, not the Genshin look. Comparisons in the press went to Elden Ring and Monster Hunter, which tells you about the footage, not about a shared combat system or a Teyvat expansion. If you came in from “Genshin studio new game,” the project name you want is still Nodus Fall.
The Cognosphere filing
Game8 reported that Cognosphere Pte. Ltd. filed NODUSFALL in the United States on 29 April 2026. Pending as of the Gamescom week. Cognosphere is the legal name that shows up on a lot of HoYoverse paperwork. A trademark doesn’t tell you platforms, price, or whether the thing is gacha.
Also still unsaid: storefronts, a release date, free vs paid. Monetization is a separate blank — see Nodus Fall gacha. What’s on tape for combat is ongameplay.
